From a polite human bring perspective, why would you ever hand stuff off without at least asking if they mind holding it or putting it away? To assume, even if you were an FA, that you have nothing better to do than hold his fried chicken is RUDE! Turning around without saying a word was spot on! Why give him the courtesy he failed to extend to you?! You gals have worked just as hard as those guys to earn your wings and we all know they'd never have chicken shoved at them! Hats off to you amazing, strong, wonderful women!!! Wow, just rude! It is the FA's responsibility, not yours. I've had more than a few passengers ask me if I "Can Actually Fly the Plane?!?!" AFTER I introduce myself as their pilot. That one gets old pretty quick! Oh, and once I had the passengers scream, (loud enough to be heard outside my headset) when the other (male) pilot left the cockpit and I was left up there alone.
